If you fancy a challenge, why not Canoe the length of Windermere with us? We do this over 2 days with a campout halfway down the lake. Windermere is the longest lake in England, at 10.5 miles long!
Our canoes are super stable, as we use outriggers on them to ensure they don't capsize. We have plenty of equipment to make this mini-expedition accessible. Sadly we don't have anywhere to use a hoist on this trip, but if you use a wheelchair that can manage small distances over rough ground then you will be fine! We bring an 8-foot ramp and a stable porta-loo to make the trip as accessible as possible.
If you require a hoist and want to come canoeing drop us a message as we can do day trips from Fell Foot with our canoes and our accessible power boat.
