High Greenside Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is located at the edge of the village of Ravenstonedale and set on a working sheep farm at the foot of Green Bell in the Howgill Fells in the Yorkshire Dales, in Cumbria.
The original farmhouse was built in 1743 and the current farmhouse was converted from outbuildings which is dated 1855.
There is a Twin and a Double room in the main house and in the annexe there is a Small Twin, and on the ground floor a Family Suite which comprises of two double bedrooms with a shower room, with access to the garden via patio doors. Breakfast is served in the traditional dining room, help yourself to cereal, yogurt and fruit juices from the Dresser. Full English breakfast is on offer [bacon eggs and sausages from the local butchers], you can choose to have the full breakfast or just parts of it and have eggs cooked how you like them. We can also offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, diary free options. Packed lunches are avai;able on request. There is plenty of on-site free private parking.
We are ideally situated as a base to explore the fells and lakes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District. There are stunning views to enjoy on any day of the week. We are on the edge of the Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk and the Dales High Way.
Our Bed and Breakfast is popular with cyclists, walkers and visitors from all over the world.

From the M6 Junction 38, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Brough, after about 7 miles take the 1st turn on the right Ravenstonedale. Then take the 1st turn on the right Greenside, go all the way up the lane, over 2 cattle grids to the farmhouse.
From the A66 take the turn off at Brough, travel towards Kirkby Stephen. Go through Kirkby Stephen after about 5 miles, take the 2nd turn off on the left for Ravenstonedale, then the 1st on the right Greenside. Travel all the way up Greenside Lane over 2 cattle grids and to the farmhouse.
