Take to the sky above the Lake District and get a bird’s eye view of one of Europe’s most stunning landscapes. What better way to see this unique area than from above. There are many ways to do this, including taking a gyroplane sightseeing trip or if you have a head for heights, why not visit Honister Slate Mine and a walk on the Infinity Bridge, so named because you often can’t see the other end! Strung accross a breathtaking gorge high up on the mountain, 2,000 feet above the valley floor. The Infinity Bridge is the longest of this type of bridge in Britain.
You may leave the Lake District, but once you’ve been, it’ll never leave you.
