We provide two boutique holiday cottages set on the edge of the national park. Both cottages appeal to the more discerning guests who enjoy a luxurious and sumptuous stay. The cottages are ideal for romantic couple’s retreats, special occasion breaks or just a fabulous place to stay after your adventures, exploring the Lake District. The cottages can be booked separately or together, offering perfect accommodation for two couples holidaying together but desiring a level of privacy. We are located in a quite village with a traditional pub, and are only five minutes from the gem town of Cockermouth. We are ideally located to explore the national park, but in particular the more peaceful Western Lake District and the beautiful Solway close. There is onsite parking.

They have relaxing, comfortable living areas, modern kitchens, with dishwasher and hot taps, delightfully comfortable and peaceful bedrooms and amazing bathrooms for a spot of pampering. At Low Fold you can enjoy a log burner, enclosed garden area, super king bed, smart TV and a freestanding bath as well as huge walk-in shower.
