Experience peace, tranquillity, and adventure on your next holiday at Parkgate Farm, located at the base of the picturesque Eskdale and Wasdale valleys. Whether you're a hiker, walker, or cyclist, our farm offers an extensive network of bridleways for exploring the surrounding fells, coast, valleys, and woodlands. Enjoy the convenience of mountain biking or horse riding, and even bring your own horse to stay in one of our available paddocks.
We have a full facilities block with showers, toilets and washing machine. An exciting children’s play area is also a work in progress and will be ready to enjoy soon. Already we have a flat play area for ball games.
We welcome families, dogs and small groups wanting to enjoy nature, fresh air and dark skies. There are sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields as well as our own very friendly donkeys (especially if you have a carrot) and as long as you close the gates you will be free to explore the fields and woodlands, build dens, have picnics and lie in the sun (or the snow!).
