The Dalesman hold a Two AA Rosette Award for culinary excellence along with a 4 Star Gold grading for their guest accommodation. There are seven stylishly designed and well-appointed guest rooms plus a separate two-bedroomed cottage ideal for families or a group. Care and attention to detail is evident throughout with little touches such as locally made hand soap and hand creams.
Accompanying a high quality, seasonal food menu is a range of locally brewed cask ales and for gin enthusiasts, The Dalesman’s very own range of ‘Sedbergh Gin’, flavoured with their home-grown rosemary and lavender and distilled in small batches in Garstang. Guests staying overnight can enjoy a delicious county breakfast at The Dalesman, before heading out to explore the local area with its famous hiking trails and picturesque villages. During the summer months, the Dalesman open their adjacent ‘Courtyard’ smokehouse and grill for alfresco dining.
