With excellent access from junction 36 of the M6, we are situated at the top of the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, with views down Windermere Lake. Our village provides an ideal base for your holiday with its two welcoming pubs, village tea room and proximity to the bright lights of Windermere and Ambleside. We also have access to the following walking routes:
- Wansfell Pike
- Kirkstone Pass
- Troutbeck Tongue
- Garburn Pass, leading on to High Street and Kentmere
This pretty set of camping pods in pretty Troutbeck in the Lake District National Park is a little slice of peace and luxury in a beautiful rural setting. There's countryside on all sides, a view of Windermere Lake together with a communal Hobbit House or outdoor seating area where guests can gather around the central firepit.
All of the pods at Troutbeck Camping Pods comfortably sleep up to four people in a cosy setup. Each pod has a double bed and bunk beds, together with an ensuite shower room with complimentary linen, towels and toiletries. Rustle up a little something using the pod's microwave, cooker and cooking utensils. There's free wifi, a TV and sofa for any lazy days, as well as underfloor heating.

From Windermere, follow the A592 Patterdale Road to the Queens Head Hotel, turn left approx 50m after the hotel (back into Troutbeck Village). We are the first drive on the right at the top of the hill. Postcode LA23 1PN will bring you to the general vicinity.
The nearest Train Station is Windermere, after which you would need to take a bus or Taxi the 4 miles to Troutbeck.
