Tripadvisor Traveller Rating
335 reviewsWoodclose Park is situated in the beautiful valley of the River Lune, right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District. It's a peaceful and tranquil holiday park, offering guests an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and a base from which to explore the national parks and local attractions.
Conveniently, a footpath from the park leads down to the spectacular Devil's Bridge. From there, you can take a leisurely walk along the River Lune to the picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, which is only about 10-15 minutes away.
One of Woodclose's many strengths is its location and you will find plenty to see and do within the local vicinity. Ruskin’s View, the Radical Steps, Ingleton Falls, Wensleydale Cheese Factory and White Scar Caves are just some of the many places to visit.
Kirkby Lonsdale itself is a historic market town with independent shops, tea rooms, cafés, restaurants and inns, and a charter market on Thursdays. Horse riding and golf are also available nearby.
The main touring area at Woodclose Park is well-designed for motorhomes, camper vans, and touring caravans, with convenient access to washing facilities. Each pitch is equipped with electricity, water, grey waste drainage, and television hook-up points.
On-site facilities include a playground and a separate area for ball games, a dog walking field, reception and shop, showers and toilets, washing and laundry facilities.
