Dark Sky Cumbria

Whether you are a seasoned stargazer or a complete novice, November is the perfect time to visit. The Cumbria Dark Skies Festival takes place from the 5th to 14th of the month and there are loads of really exciting ways to see the stars. You can take a guided walk in the forest, a night canoe, or even a swim. You can watch from the grounds of a beautiful country estate or make an evening of it and combine stargazing with a slap-up meal.

Cumbria has a wealth of venues that play host to national and international travelling shows. In November there is a huge variety to enjoy. Head to Millom for top stand-up comedy from Omid Djalili and his The Good Times Tour; or catch a live show from Scottish Punk band The Skids in Kendal.
