Established in 2016, Chestnut House is fast becoming THE place to shop on Ullswater, located in the heart of Pooley Bridge, adjacent to the newly refurbished Crown Inn, we are an independently run specialist off licence, food and drink store.
Run by a small but hard working team of 5 staff, we pride ourselves on stocking locally sourced products and we always aim to provide the highest levels of service, both in store and online.
Open 7 days a week, carrying over 400 different gins, 100s of whiskies, rums, liqueurs, Cumbrian real ales, a plethora of Cumbrian spirits and liqueurs, and an eclectic mix of food and drink, there really is something for everyone! Visit our increasingly popular sample station where you can try a wide range of spirits and liqueurs before you decide which ones to take home!
