A mile long woodland and waterfall tour right in the heart of Ambleside. Start your exploration at the back of Barclays Bank and follow the tarmac road for a short way until you see the path on the left for Stockghyll Falls. Climb through the woods to see multiple falls of 90ft. With clear paths and bridge, it's an easy trail with viewpoints on the way. Don't miss crossing the top bridge which affords an amazing spectacle of the falls below.
