Via Ferrata Xtreme

A 3-hour challenge amidst the stunning scenery. No climbing experience is necessary to tackle the Honister Via Ferrata, but it's definitely not for the faint of heart. From mountain edges to Burma bridges and sky ladders, visitors will face a range of challenging obstacles, then following a final scramble rewarded with breathtaking views of Buttermere, Crummock, and Loweswater.

Climb the Mine

Adventure deep into the belly of Fleetwith Pike through underground tunnels exploring inside the slate mine. During this exhilarating adventure, participants will navigate the original mining routes and tackle various action-packed obstacles, including vertical climbs, rope bridges, ladders, zip lines, and Tarzan swings and concluding with a breathtaking view of one of England's highest mountain passes. Come rain or shine, this unique adventure promises to be an unforgettable experience for hen and stag groups.

Canyoning

Discover the thrill of canyoning led by Honister's experienced team. Just 15 minutes from the mine, you’ll explore nature's own waterpark and the beautiful historic location. With expert guides to lead you through the waterfalls and help you abseil down rock faces, this activity will be an unforgettable experience. Each session lasts around 4 hours.

The Infinity Bridge

At a thousand feet above sea level, the Infinity bridge lives up to its name with an endless length that challenges and excites. As Europe's longest highwire bridge, conquerors can revel in the sense of achievement and stunning landscape views.
