From Kendal, travelling along the Underbarrow Road, Scout Scar car park is the second car park on the right after the road crosses the A591. Satnav may take you beyond the car park as the post code covers a wide area, so keep a lookout for the car park as the road is quite windy.
Drive approximately 200 yards past the first car park (Cunswick Car Park - a limestone rock plate car park with a wooden sign), just around the bend to Scout Scar car park on the right with the metal sign. Parking is free but there is a donation box and collections go towards the upkeep of the car park. There are 35 spaces.
