For a fine dining experience which includes enticing menus and attentive service, the Borrowdale Hotel’s Restaurant will be the most memorable reservation you have made yet.

The hotel was recently refurbished at the beginning of 2023. This update brought in a breath of fresh air whilst maintaining its historic and character-brimmed charm perfectly. A big part of this project was the renovation of the Restaurant’s interior which has been designed to emanate elegance and is the epitome of class.

Alongside improvements to the interior, the menu has been intricately created to boast the finest fresh, local ingredients and is well-varied so to meet the needs of a variety of customers. This changes seasonally to take advantage of our selected ingredients during their optimum time. During the festive period, you can expect to indulge in all kinds of dishes designed to immerse you in the Christmas spirit.

Our Restaurant takes pride in our beautiful walk-in wine cellar, designed to display our extensive wine and champagne collection. Sunday lunch at the Borrowdale is not to be missed…order a traditional roast served from our silver carving trolley to enjoy a selection of juicy roasts, fluffy mash, and real home-cooked Yorkshire puddings.
