Start your navigation journey with Hiking Highs, from the very beginning, the first time you have opened your paper map, to the technical contour only courses, our team are experienced navigation coaches.
We help to remove the fear of being 'mislocated', gaining confidence to head off to explore on your own. Understand and decode the language of maps, making them come alive and see the 3 dimensional picture that starts to emerge before your eyes.
We work with the National Navigation Award Scheme, to enable our navigators to gain a national certificate after 2 days coaching at Bronze, Silver then Gold level.
Bespoke navigation days are also available at a level to suit your skills.
Learn to love maps, and read them like a book, its great fun when you start the journey!
