A museum/exhibition based on a collection of toy soldiers and related forts, guns etc. Battlefield models, Hadrian's Wall feature, historical information. Group talks on history of toys, military history. The exhibition includes over 6,000 figures laid out by theme e.g. nationality, historical period, manufacturer, modelling material. Large (40-60 sq ft) Battlefield layouts, local history etc. Activity sheets for young visitors.
We rely on volunteers to open the museum so visitors making a special visit are advised to call to confirm first. Please see contact details below.
