Dinner is the highlight of any stay at Lakeside, with two superb restaurants plus all day conservatory & terrace dining. Head chef Richard Booth is passionate about sourcing Cumbria’s freshest seasonal produce and letting the flavours speak for themselves by creating and designing the most visually stunning and flavoursome food, for an impressive dining experience.
Lakeview Restaurant - where every meal feels like a special occasion, candlelight, fresh flowers and fine wines to set the mood for a delicious dining experience every evening. The Classic Grill Restaurant serving an à la carte menu with dishes individually priced including rare breed steaks from our charcoal barbecue in a sealed chamber.
John Ruskin Brasserie - both elegant and informal. An eatery that radiates a brightness, that is both welcoming and fun, creating a lively atmosphere for the entire hotel. This room has a true essence for the importance of relaxed dining that it appeals to everyone. A chance to relish high-profile dishes, created with quality ingredients, in a casual environment. Families can feel at home here, an eatery that eradicates the stresses that sometimes come with dining as a family. Groups of friends can catch up over seasonal plates and delve into the Chef Richard Booths visually stunning and flavoursome food.
