The business has been in the family for 50 years, with Sarah's parents owning the shop previously. Because of this history, we have long standing great relations with our suppliers, who are the industries finest. As a family run independent store, our aim is to ensure our customers receive the best service possible, for any enquiry, every time!

Cycle Hire:
Our cycle hire journey started with the launch of a network of dedicated cycling and walking trails on Lowther Estate during the Summer of 2018. We received a number of requests to hire from our store in Penrith so decided to introduce a selection of bikes that are available to collect from our hub at the cycle shop or delivered to your accommodation.
There are a number of iconic road rides direct from our door including Hartside Pass & Great Dunn fell along with Kirkstone Pass via Glenridding if you're feeling particularly adventurous. If mountain biking is more your thing, you can access the Lowther trails to get straight on to High Street and explore the wonderful routes which are naturally challenging on the open fell. The bikes in our hire centre at Lowther are aimed at families and leisure, whereas the bikes you can collect from Penrith include some more aggressive full suspension models.
Bike Hire:
Bike hire can be arranged via our site www.arragonscyclehire.com customers can collect from our store or we will arrange delivery to your accommodation (Under delivered to you). Alternatively bikes can be collected at our dedicated site at Lowther Castle. (under Hire from Lowther)
