Canoe sailing is the wacky race of sailing.
We developed our bespoke canoe sailing boats to make an easily accessible boat for people with mobility difficulties - but everyone loves them. Fast light and you are a solo sailer from the very start. If you want a friend or carer in the boat to help you, that's fine too!
Your instructor starts by teaching you to rig the boat on the land and how to use the various controls. When we're ready we slide onto the water for a quick tow to somewhere suitable to set off from and then you're off. Don't worry though the powerful safety boat will guide you through the initial few minutes and you will have the hang of it by lunch. We have great little radios on each collar to easily hear what the instructor is saying and to ask for guidance.
Our sailing canoes are suitable for anyone who can self-transfer, enjoys an adrenaline buzz and fancies sailing!
We cater for a wide variety of people with disabilities for our full accessibility guide click here.
