Derwent Water Marina is situated in the peaceful and sheltered northwest corner of the lake in the picturesque village of Portinscale, just a 20-minute walk from Keswick. Our busy Marina offers a wide range of services including boat hire, tuition, watersports shop & chandlery, berthing, boat sales and self-catering apartments.
Why not ‘Get on the Lake’ with us and explore the stunning bays and islands by hiring a Paddleboard, Canoe, Kayak, Rowing boat or Pedalo. Alternatively, we offer instructor led sessions in all our water sports, from beginner and taster sessions to courses. You can check out availability and book via our website, or contact us for more information.
Our on-site shop is the only shop in the north Lakes offering both a wide range of water sports clothing and accessories, and a well-stocked chandlery. We are recognised dealers for Pioner Boats, Red Paddle Co Boards, Tohatsu and Torqueedo engines and run a well-established Brokerage Service with 25 years+ of knowledge and experience.
