destruction / care is a free, 24/7 art exhibition of social forces and creative actions in Staveley. We explore destructive and caring forces facing Cumbria and the world today, whilst sharing just how much this village cares. We have transformed this community shelter in a vibrant space, tackling issues such as vandalism + art, hidden local history, ecology + rivers, and provision for the old + young alike.
This exhibition of community-made artworks raises awareness of how we can contribute our time, resources, creativity or attention to issues we face together as neighbours. Feel free to visit us and contribute your thoughts on our graffiti blackboard!
