A six week exhibition exploring the wilder side of the Lake District, taking place in the former Beatrix Potter Gallery in the centre of Hawkshead. This unique exhibition showcases the work of artists who live and work in rural Cumbria, plus art work from children in the neighbouring schools. The exhibition draws on the legacy of Beatrix Potter as an extraordinary female artist and conservationist as the artists explore and celebrate the elemental rawness, beauty and fragility of the Lakes.
