A beautifully appointed, self-catering house sleeping up to 12 in the heart of Pooley Bridge. Owned and operated by the award-winning Hillcroft Park team, it features private parking and your very own hot tub – perfect for family get togethers.
Located right in the heart of Pooley Bridge, Ullswater House offers self-catering sleeping in 6 bedrooms. Perfect for larger family groups, it’s a light, welcoming space literally a stone’s throw from three pubs, award-winning 1863 Restaurant and Rooms, popular Granny Dowbekin’s Tearoom, Chestnut House (the Gin Shop!) and Pooley Bridge Village Stores and Secret Garden.
The House is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The accommodation comprises:
First floor:
2 double en-suite bedrooms
1 twin en-suite bedroom
1 family en-suite bedroom (super-king, single and pull out single bed).
Ground Floor:
1 super-king en-suite (which can be made in to two singles)
1 double with family bathroom adjacent.
Spacious lounge, off the kitchen and separate dining room. Wifi. Garden area with furniture, ample parking in the grounds for several cars.
With Private Hot Tub to rear of property – robes are provided for adults only.
Cots and high chairs are available to hire.
Meadowbank
Meadowbank Cottage is semi detached and located close to the entrance of the park. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Being all on the ground floor is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. The cottage has central heating and comprises:
Dining and lounge area has a log burner, TV, blue ray DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The utility room houses the washer/dryer.
The Master double bedroom has a King size bed, while the twin bedroom has two 3′ beds. The family bathroom features a shower over bath, hand basin, WC and hairdryer. Bath robes and slippers are supplied for adults.
The outside seating area is a real gem, the hot tub boasts fantastic views over the fells and Ullswater. To the rear of the property there is a grassed garden area.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in this cottage.
Meadowcroft
Meadowcroft Cottage is a tastefully furnished holiday cottage sleeping up to six people in three comfortable bedrooms. From wine coolers to wood burners and a hot tub with fell views, this place has all the ingredients for a holiday to remember.
Enjoy a wood burning stove in the lounge. In the three bedrooms you’ll find one King size bed, one double and one twin – perfect for larger families. There is also a luxurious family bathroom.
The hot tub is located on your own private patio with those afore mentioned fell views and comfortable garden furniture.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in this cottage.
Self-catering cottages and Ullswater House are open all year round.

From the M6, junction 40, take the A66 towards Keswick. At the next roundabout, in approximately 1 mile, take the second exit onto A592 towards Ullswater. At the end of the road, turn left towards Pooley Bridge. Go over the bridge and past the shops in the Village, then turn right at the mini-roundabout outside of the Village Church. Proceed ahead until you get to the crossroads. You need to go straight over at the crossroads and the park is 100 metres ahead on the left-hand side.
