Guests are welcome to use the well-equipped modern kitchen, relax and make friends in our quirky lounge and kick off their muddy boots in the boot room and dry any soggy jackets in our drying area. lt really is your base for the Lakes, we are lN the village, where there are plenty of options to grab some local produce for you to cook in the kitchen and countless cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, shops, boutiques, supermarkets, post office within a few moments' walk.
There is so much to explore right on your doorstepl Lakes, fells, woodlands, boat & bike hire, and boat trips all just minutes away, and we are perfectly situated for your stay in the Lake District. We bought Lakes Hostel in 2020 & began renovating every inch; from everything you'll see and touch like the beds, bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms and lots of stuff you can't, like the sustainable sheep's wool insulation, electrics and plumbing!
We have 5 colourful, cosy and clean bedrooms available that are ideal for individuals, multi gen groups, couples and families. With 16 single bed pods and 3 double beds, the capacity is 16 single or 19 if 3 people share double beds. The beds are beautifully made ready for your stay with crisp clean sheets, cosy duvets and fresh fluffy pillows & all have their own charging points, reading lights and privacy curtains. Super fast, free wifi throughout.
There are separate shower rooms & I think we can boast the most unique toilet facilities in Windermere. We aim for luxury, but comfort; offering that warm friendly and relaxed accommodation we all want without compromising on quality.
