On the A595 north of Distington at Lillyhall where all the car sales garages terminate, you will come to a new roundabout, Distington is to the left, take the next turning to Whitehaven, Barrow, Parton on A595. This is a dual carriageway for approximately 2 miles. When you approach the end of it you will notice a church on the horizon to the west, this is where you are heading, so to speak. You will come to another roundabout, do not take turning to Low Moresby, continue on A595 to Whitehaven, in approximately 0.25 mile take the very first turning right signposted Lowca and Parton. In approximately 100 metres you take the first turning right again down a short track to our home, Moresby Hall Cottage, from here we will introduce you to your chosen cottage.
A fine example of a Georgian church, which has been sympathetically modernised.
