About
Park Cliffe is an award-winning holiday park set in 25 acres of beautiful, unspoilt countryside, right in the heart of the Lake District, only 3 miles from Bowness-on-Windermere. We have two camping areas.
Ghyllside campsite
Our Ghyllside camping area, allows you to reserve your pitch, with electrical hook-up (6amps) suitable for lighting, recharging devices and small appliances such as a travel kettle. These pitches are allocated by size and are more suitable for larger tents.
Fellside campsite
The second area, Fellside, suits those seeking a more traditional camping experience, but with the added comfort of well-maintained facilities. You can choose your own area to camp on arrival and each pitch offers magnificent views across Lake Windermere thanks to its elevated position and undulating slopes.
You’ll receive a warm welcome from our friendly team and our accommodation is complemented with a range of modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

*NB: Our opening days and times vary throughout the year so contact us for full details. As a general guide, the Fellside Bar and Breakfasts is open at weekends and in peak holiday periods for drinks and breakfast although a midweek day or two remain closed. The River Box Kitchen serves food Friday and Saturday evenings all season and 6 nights a week during holiday periods.
