Newly reopened after a full refurb, this friendly pub has the comforts of a hotel stay with all the quirky character and homeliness of a cosy inn. Expect crackling fires, walls lined with eclectic vintage finds and plenty of snug corners to settle down and relax in.
Stay in cosy, light-filled rooms – many with lake and fell views in the main inn building and characterful Oakbank House annexe alongside.
Walkers are welcome here and The Angel Inn is family and dog friendly, too.
Open all year round for excellent pub fare from breakfast to evening meals and everything in between - The Angel Inn is the place to eat, drink, sleep and explore from, whether you’re scaling the fells or enjoying well-earned downtime in the heart of the Lake District.
