Talkin Tarn is a beautiful glacial tarn surrounded by ancient woodlands. The Tamper route circumnavigates the Tarn. You will get lovely views over the water, as well as, the chance to see the birds, flora and fauna that call the Tarn home.
The route itself is on a good hard packed path and is mainly flat with only a few short steep climbs. The route can be taken in either direction around the Tarn.
Members must be accompanied on the route by another person during the Tramper hire session. All users must stay on the designated Tramper route path.
