This route takes you from Roose station on the outskirts of Barrow-in-Furness to the impressive remains of Furness Abbey, then onto Dalton.- An easy walk to Claife Viewing Station via the pretty Cockshott Point. Easily accessible from Windermere train station.

- A fascinating stretch of coast where it is believed that during Roman times a signal beacon was based on the highest point.
