BarrowFull is an arts organisation led by Barrow-based partners with the aim of increasing participation in the arts. We work with the people of Barrow, enabling creative experiences to happen across the town including a vibrant programme of public events throughout 2024:
Playcations
Free, family-friendly mini festivals of creativity. Music, theatre, crafts + dance for all to enjoy!
• Tues 30th July – Vickerstown Park, Walney
• Thurs 1st Aug – Cavendish Park, Barrow Island
•Sat 3rd Aug - Dock Museum
• Tues 6th Aug – Ormsgill Playing Field
• Thurs 8th Aug - Abbots Vale Park
• Sat 10th Aug - Barrow Park
All times are 11-3:30pm, with “lunchtime live” music performances at 1pm each day.
Sinfonia
Matinee and evening performances on Wednesday 18 September 2.30pm & 7.30pm. Sinfonia is a show about real-life stories. Stories from the past, present and imagined future of an often-overlooked generation.
Sinfonia is a rich and moving performance featuring personal stories written and performed by the cast, interwoven with original music and beautiful choreography.
