Cable & Blake design, create and sell locally produced Herdwick fabrics. Our Fabrics of the Lakes bring the natural landscape of England’s Lake District into your living space.

The woollen fabric’s unique digital prints are created within Cable & Blake’s studio and our rich colours are inspired by the seasonal tones of the Cumbrian region, to give a timeless, aesthetic beauty to your interiors and a modern twist to the Lake District heritage.

All our fabric is woven from the iconic Herdwick sheep of the Lake District. We have transformed this undervalued wool into a luxurious and enduring fabric and, through our collaborations with local farmers, traditional weavers and creative makers we are bringing more value to the rural community.
