You are here: Home > Things to Do > Canoe on Windermere - England's Longest with Anyone Can (Accessible Canoeing)
Glide silently along the river and past the steam trains at the speed of paddle as we head south while everyone gets the hang of handling their boats in the sheltered water.
When we are ready we turn round and explore the wider Lake Winderemere as we head north towards the central fells towering above the lake in the distance.
We love to find nice secluded spots for lunch away from the crowds whenever we can.
We supply lunch a selection of treats to enjoy and hot drinks.
Prices
£310 for a private booking for a group of up to 4 persons with lunch
£101 for our open sessions - bookable via our webpage
These days are from 10 am - 3 pm. We start the day by getting the Canoes ready based on the group's needs, ensuring everyone is comfy with their seating arrangements we then get on the water. We will teach you the paddling skills you will need for the day to be able to go on a journey and then we head off for a picnic lunch on Windermere.
If you would like to join us for an overnight expedition and paddle the length of Windermere check out our website! This is a fantastic adventure that we run annually, with the wonderful challenge of paddling the full 10 miles of Englands longest lake over 2 days whilst camping out.
We are a specialist inclusive adventure company and cater for people with disabilities. To find out more bout how we facilitate access for those with cognitive, sensory, mobility or learning impairments click HERE.
