Cheers! The Cumbrian Gold celebrates the 50th anniversary of Cumbria Tourism, and is a delicious, sessionable beer.
To celebrate five decades of supporting our county’s world-class tourism industry, we have teamed up with Hawkshead Brewery to create ‘Cumbrian Gold’; a special, anniversary themed golden lager. Brewed, bottled, and labelled in Staveley, the same village as our HQ.
As well as tasting fantastic, Cumbrian Gold also supports the next generation of tourism talent, with 10p from every pint and 330ml bottle sold going towards our 50th Anniversary Charitable Fund. Administered by Cumbria Community Foundation, the fund aims to kickstart people’s careers in tourism and hospitality.
Golden Amber in colour, with crisp, clean, biscuity flavours with subtle floral notes from the German and American hops. Malt forward, lightly toasted and slightly sweet, caramel aromas from a combination of Vienna, Munich and Pilsner malt.
Cumbrian Gold is available to purchase online via Hawkshead Brewery or at The Beer Hall in Staveley. Plus, cask and kegs are available to the hospitality sector too.
