A special day requires a special place and at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa we understand this well. This striking 17th century former stately home, set in 400 acres of delightful grounds on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, could not be any more special, whatever the season.
5 approved rooms for civil ceremonies, including the outdoor Woodland Gazebo nestled in the gardens overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake, offer individual design and flexibility for up to 150 guests. The charming church of St. Begas provides an appropriate setting for a religious blessing.
When it comes to the wedding breakfast, a choice of differing restaurants offer flexibility for numbers and budget and allow for both buffets and formal meals. Continue the celebrations into the evening in the Broadwater Suite with bespoke lighting instillation, dance floor and private bar. The room also features floor to ceiling retractable windows running two lengths of the room leading onto the terrace and gardens.
