If you had no access to pharmaceutical medicine, would you know what to forage for in nature?
This exhibition relates to natural remedies found in nature, such as dandelion, burdock and hawthorn. These 3 plants are easily foraged for in hedgerows. My aim is to bring awareness to natural remedies that can help with side effects of chemotherapy, mainly nausea and diarrhoea. It is imperative the chemotherapy drugs remain in the patient's system for as long as possible yet often through medication combatting the side effects, patients are having to manage more than the chemotherapy medicine itself.
