SWAN CHRISTMAS MARKETS 2024 – SAVE THE DATE!
Our Christmas markets are back once again this year, and they'll be bringing all of the Christmas cheer!
On the 16th & 17th November from 11-5pm, our barn area and beyond will be bursting at the seams with stallholders selling their beautiful wares, while the halls throughout the hotel will be decked!
You can expect a wide range of vendors that are here to cover all your decoration and Christmas gifting needs, plus some amazing extras you can enjoy on the day, including:
Fabulous stallholders from crafts to bakes and everything in between
Live music
Delicious hot food stalls
Santa's grotto
Mulled wine
Kids face painting
…and much, much more!
Out on the terrace, you'll find our pizza van – or stay indoors and listen to our resident artists singing your favourite Christmas tunes.
The big man himself will be here in his Grotto, too, to spread some festive cheer for the little ones. Grotto tickets coming soon!
OUR STALLHOLDERS – SOON TO BE CONFIRMED
Arriving by car:
We have limited, FREE car parking available over the weekend. Therefore, we highly recommend car sharing where possible! However, should you struggle to find a space here with us, we have various alternatives for you to try:
Fell Foot Public Car Park: LA12 8NN
Lakeside Public Car Park: LA12 8AS
Both approx. 20min walk to The Swan!
Arriving by bus:
The Swan is but a 2-minute walk from the Newby Bridge bus stop, where buses arrive every hour to get you to and from Barrow, Dalton, Ulverston and Windermere. This'll mean no searching for a parking spot, no queuing for the car park and a big THANK YOU from mother nature, too! The X6, 6 and X60 buses are all Swan-friendly.
Head to the Stagecoach website for the full timetable!
