Join ranger Ted on a guided walk exploring the beautiful woodlands that border Keswick and their role in the cultural landscape of the Lake District World Heritage Site.
Come along for a walk around Cockshot where we will talk about the woodland management being carried out by the rangers over the past 5 years, and what our plans are for the woods in the future. We will then head over to Castlehead Woods, from where we will be (hopefully) rewarded with an incredible view down Borrowdale. From this viewpoint, you can hear about the cultural landscape and its management, including the farming system before we head back towards Keswick.
Booking is essential for this free guided walk.
