Play in a Day

About

Join us for "Play in a Day," a unique celebration of our vibrant performance communities. Forming a part of our West Coast Current Theatre Week, you will be challenged to collaborate in small groups to devise and perform a play in a day.
How it will work
Each group will receive a basic scene outline, as well as a bag of goodies, to inspire their own narrative.

Groups will be supported by theatre practitioners Hannah and Imogen to devise their scene.

The final part of the day will be a performance of each scene, to build a joyful, and very possibly hilarious, show.

This show will be open to friends and family.

Housekeeping
This event is open to all aged 16+. 14–16-year-olds must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Bring your own lunches, but pizza will be provided at 5pm.

The sharing will be free for your friends to attend, but we will need to know numbers in advance.

The 6pm sharing performance is free for family and friends but will need to book in advance.
