We are delighted to announce in light of the main auditorium being closed that we will be turning the Grasmere and Rydal suite at The Forum theatre Barrow into a 200 seater intimate theatre named, 'The Platform 28 Theatre' this Christmas with a catwalk down the middle on the theatre – meaning every seat is right amongst the action.
This year we will be presenting a brand new pantomime adventure, THE SANTA EXPRESS.
Jack Frost has kidnapped Santa, but fear not, the Christmas Fairy has jumped down from the tree and is about to take young Holly on board an adventure to the North Pole via The Santa Express where with the help of Dame Dolly Claus and Declan Hall the elf they'll go on the ultimate Christmas Family Panto adventure!
The Santa Express is everything you would expect from a panto. Lots of singing, dancing, beautiful costumes, laughs for the whole family, a bloke in a dress AND a reindeer with the a red nose.
We encourage all audience members to come to this show in Christmas PJ'S, Christmas Jumpers or your best Christmas outfit!
You'll enter The Platform 28 Theatre via the conductors office where's you'll be greeted and give your golden ticket ready to board The Santa Express.
Every audience member (adult and child) will also be given a free goody bag, included in the price of the ticket including a souvenir hot chocolate cup and a Christmas jingle bell you'll have to use in the show to help Santa save Christmas!
There will be various Christmas Selfie Stations around the Theatre and Christmas Post a box where you can write letters to Santa before the show .
We will also have a Santa's Grotto where a limited number of ticket holders per show can upgrade to meet Santa for a photo after the show!
This years Christmas Pantomime promises to go down in history as one of the most special, magical shows of all times and we can't wait for you all to be part of the incredible festive treat, we are pulling out all the stops!
