Premium Dates: 20th – 24th December, including Christmas Eve
The Experience:
Elf-led Festive Storytelling – Begin your journey at Ravenglass, where our elves bring Christmas tales to life in the Ravenglass Railway Museum. Our very special head Elf will guide you through an interactive storytelling experience to set the festive scene.
The Santa Express Journey – Climb aboard for a 40-minute steam train ride through the stunning Eskdale Valley, filled with Christmas excitement as you make your way to Dalegarth Grotto.
Meet Santa at Dalegarth Grotto – Santa and his team of merry helpers will be waiting to welcome you, along with Stu Di Doo the magician and his festive puppet friend. Children will be called up to meet Santa, receive a special Christmas gift, and enjoy a festive activity pack with treats.
Festive Refreshments – Grown-ups (only the ones on the nice list) won't be forgotten! Enjoy a seasonal snack and a festive drink while the train waits at Dalegarth Station before your return journey to Ravenglass.
Tickets and Booking
Don't miss this Christmas experience filled with magic, laughter, and festive cheer. Keep an eye out for our Santa sign-up list in the summer with tickets live in the autumn (must be pre-booked). This is a very popular event so we recommend early booking to make memories that will last a lifetime.
