Adventurous Ink, the book subscription that helps readers reconnect, are inviting lovers of good books and the great outdoors to join them for a unique springtime event at Seatoller Farm in the Lake District's Borrowdale.
Over the weekend of 29th & 30th March, the Borrowdale Ink Experience will use contemporary literary culture to help participants slow down and settle into the Dale as they reconnect with themselves, each other and the rest of the natural world.
Attendees will be inspired to discover this renowned landscape afresh with curated suggestions for local spots to explore paired with quotes from travel, nature and philosophy books previously featured in the subscription.
Nature writer Matt Gaw will open the weekend with a creative writing workshop that helps participants deepen their awareness and insight by observing the place like a writer, using their pen as a lens on the landscape.
The weekend culminates on Sunday afternoon with a collective sense-making, a communal sharing of the sights, sounds and spirit of the valley.
Tickets include an evening meal of fresh pizza during Saturday evening's discussions and talks.
