Greenbank Farm stands in 70 acres of rolling countryside where you can see the fields being grazed by beautiful black Friesian horses. Internationally renowned 'The Friesian Experience' equestrian centre is located on the farm which is home to retired, working and rescued Friesian horses, as well as the world's first Stable Stay where you can book a night in a luxury self-catering stable and sleep next to a gorgeous Friesian or friendly miniature Shetland pony.
Windemere Lake is just a 15 minute drive away and easy access to the M6 makes this farmhouse ideally situated for exploring The Lake District and all of the adventures it has to offer. National Trust properties nearby include Sizergh Castle and Fell Foot park and privately owned Holker Estate.

Nearest rail station Grange-over-Sands, approx. 3 miles from Cartmel. A taxi from the station is advised as the farm is not located on a bus route.By car, leave M6 motorway at junction 36. Follow A590 signposted for Barrow-in-Furness, remain on the A590 when it bears off to the left. After approx. 15 minutes take the exit to Cartmel. Follow signs for Cartmel Priory turning left at t-junctions, As you get closer to Cartmel you will see a sign on a small right-turn road for AYNSOME MANOR, take this turn and at the end of this road turn right. The farm is located at the top of the hill on the right and is a large white building with a sign for The Friesian Experience.
