Pheasant lodge, hand crafted Norwegian log cabin,is perfect for romantic breaks, nestled in a hidden corner of the Cumbrian countryside, close to Lake District National Park, Northumbria National Park, Scotland Border & just three miles from romantic Gretna Green.

This stunning log cabin, so named after the numerous  wild pheasants which freely roam from the nearby woodland, with a Master King size bedroom & TV, open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen & dining area with a Tassimo coffee maker and wine chiller, Smart flat screen TV/DVD,Blu ray & Sono's music bar, Wi Fi, the perfect couples retreat. With a sauna-dressing room with TV providing the perfect pamper room for ladies & separate WC with washing machine/dryer.

This log cabin with under floor heating, creates a cosy, snug ambience, for all year round romantic getaways or break with friends. (These can be accommodated in our additional self-catering luxury glamping, luxury shepherds hut or camp-site.)

The log cabin with open plan living/kitchen/dining area & bi-folding French doors, opening onto a large decking area with sunken 'Hot Springs 'jacuzzi hot tub, open countryside & Solway Coast to the west, overlooking the Northern Lake District fells to the south, leading into private garden with outdoor furniture & BBQ for alfresco dinning!

This beautiful cabin with Harrison Spinks king size bed & TV, luxury bed linen, pillows, duvet, robes slippers & soft towels are provided for you during your stay, designed to make your stay as luxurious, memorable & comfortable as possible.

Guests can enjoy country living, on our small working farm our donkeys, Shetland ponies Valasis Black nose Sheep & Eco Easy care sheep & poultry providing free range organic eggs for guest to enjoy.

The cabin is ideally situated for guests attending a number of wedding venues close by, Skitby House, Gretna Green Blacksmith's, Anvil Hall & Hidden River Cabins Wedding Barn.

For the more adventurous, woodland walks close by wildlife & fauna & flora, cycling, mountain biking, swimming retreat less than a mile away, fishing & many more outdoor pursuits

We have secure storage for cycles, cycle wash,local cycle hire from Bike Seven & fishing on the Border Esk river (day permit is available) & Canonbie beats over the Border available.
