The Bridge Cottages are some the oldest buildings in the village of Coniston. Over 300 years, they have formerly been the village post office, a butcher and around the beginning of the 1900s, a well-known restaurant. Though centrally located for all the goodies Coniston has to offer, The Bridge House Cottages are pleasantly secluded and peaceful.
The Bridge Cottages: Bridge House, Old Post, Bridge Suite are 3 inter-linking cottages which together comfortable accommodate up to 16 guests across 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Bridge House features a large lounge and kitchen/dining room making this property the perfect choice for those big family get-togethers and celebrations. The cottages also come the use of three exclusive hot tubs.
The Bridge Cottages are ideally situated in the centre of Coniston and just a short walk from the church, local stores, gift shops, cafe's and numerous pubs. Popular valley and mountain walks including the Old Man of Coniston & Tarn Hows can be accessed from the front door and the lake shore is less than a 15 minute stroll away.
The Bridge Cottages consist of:
Bridge House: sleeps 8 in four king/twin en suite bedrooms
Old Post Cottage: sleeps 4 in two king/twin en suite bedrooms
Bridge Suite: sleeps 2 when booked alone or 4 when booked alongside Bridge House and/or Old Post Cottage.
Situated in the heart of Coniston village which has several great pubs, cafes, local shops as well as lake access to Coniston Water and fell walks straight from your front door.
