The Cumbria Grand Hotel is part of the long established family owned Strathmore Hotel group. Set within the Lake District National Park, the Cumbria Grand Hotel is the ideal base to go and explore one of the most beautiful parts of England and the UK. Set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodlands and overlooking Morecambe Bay, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome at this charming AA 3-Star Victorian Hotel in the Lake District.
The stunning Victorian building has 124 en-suite bedrooms, many rooms have picturesque views of Morecambe Bay. The Hazelwood Restaurant caters for buffet breakfast and delicious evening meals, using the best in local produce. The comfortable, spacious Jacobean lounge with its roaring log fire, is a great area to relax and enjoy the offerings of the Jacobean Bar. The bar has draught beers, a comprehensive wine list, vast array of spirits and soft drinks. A tasty bar menu is available daily with some local favourite dishes.
In the grounds there is a children's play area, tennis court and also a woodland walk. The hotel also has a snooker room and a pool table. There is ample free parking in the hotel car park. WiFi is provided free of charge in all public areas and guest bedrooms.
