A warm welcome awaits you! This elegant Victorian building stands proudly in four acres of tended gardens and walkways and enjoys views of the surrounding Lake District fells.
On arrival relax in the stylish lounge and enjoy a drink or a meal from our extensive bar menu, then retire to one of the seventy-four tastefully decorated bedrooms.
The beautiful Lonsdale Restaurant, with views overlooking the hotel gardens, serves a sumptuous three course dinner each evening, followed by a hearty Cumbrian breakfast each morning.

Leave the M6 at Junction 40 [Penrith Interchange] and follow the signs for the A66 westbound for Workington and Keswick. After about 15 miles [24km], take the left turn-off onto the A591 signposted for Windermere & Keswick then at the T-junction turn right onto the A5271 signposted for the Town Centre. After 0.8 mile [1.3km] turn right by the War Memorial onto Station Road. Follow the road to the top and you arrive at the hotel.
