Lake District Music Festival

Running from 26 July – 04 August this celebration of all types of music from jazz and gospel to chamber music and brass bands will see venues across south Cumbria take part. With family themed performances and even interactive choirs it’s a fun chance to experience live music in an affordable and accessible way.


The Forum

Winter Droving

For those who don’t know, Droving is essentially a term that refers to moving cattle long distances on foot. While this is no longer practiced, it is still celebrated at an annual festival in Penrith, taking place on 26 October.  So, grab a mask and come join the fun with street food, live music and performances and a magical nighttime torchlit procession.
