Voted Best cafe in Cumbria by Cumbria Life readers and being awarded the UK's most dog friendly cafe by the Dog Friendly Awards, Cafe hope is catering to all the family. A stone's throw from the lake or a 5 minute stroll from the town centre, Cafe Hope is serving up something for all the family.
With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, including a covered terrace with private garden and spectacular views, it’s the perfect place to relax with family or friends and enjoy a bite to eat or a drink. We serve all your favourites: breakfast from 10am and lunch from 11.30 am a choice of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads. Our home-made tray bakes including stuffed brownies, cookie pies, and brookies are a well-earned treat after a walk - our cream tea has people walking miles to get them. Our epic milk shakes are Instagram worthy and hot chocolates are legendary! We are fully licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine with lunch or a beer after a game of pitch and putt. We have a children’s menu that the kids will love! Our doggy visitors have their very own menu too, so no need to worry about the dog drooling over your food while you’re trying to eat. They’ll be too busy tucking into their sausages and gravy.
