Our luxury accommodation has been hand built for our bespoke design for couples wanting a romantic retreat or a place to chill out for a few days. Minimum 2-night stay, any day arrivals.
Our two luxurious micro lodge pods are located on Broadrayne farm in the very heart of the Lake District national park. Broadrayne a former 17th Century farm enjoys a sunny elevated position surrounded by some of Britain's finest scenery. There is instant access to many inspiring mountains and valley walks.
The famous coast to coast route passes through the farmlands, the picturesque village of Grasmere is a short stroll away and there is a traditional Lakeland Inn just 400 yards down the road.
Lounge area has as large sofa, log burning stove, dining table with two chairs and a wall mounted LED TV. Fitted kitchen with oven, induction hob, small fridge freezer, kettle, toaster plus all the pans, crockery and glasses to create a romantic dinner for two.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth radio system and 13 amp sockets with integrated USB charger for your deceives. Fully insulated with heated for all year round use. King size bed with storage underneath which is made up for your arrival with crisp white linen and fluffy white towels. Large bathroom including walk in, rain head shower, toilet, sink, heated towel rail. Our Eco-friendly wood chip boiler provides all the hot water for the pods and the lighting is via LED lights.

The pods are fully insulated and heated, so they stay warm and welcoming whatever the season. And with eco-friendly credentials like a wood chip boiler and low-energy LED lighting, you can enjoy all the luxury with a lighter footprint.

Driving from the south - Leave the M6 at Junction 36, join the A590 from Windermere this becomes the A591 after a few miles. Stay on this road past Windermere and through Ambelside and passed Grasmere right to our driveway. We are just over 1 mile north from Grasmere Village. On the main A591 we are 400 yards from the Travellers rest pub, just passed a bend in the road. The Farm is on the right going north and is sign posted on the roadside at the bottom of our drive (both to Broadrayne Farm and to Grasmere Hostel) Driving from the North - Leave the M6 at Junction 40, travel west along the A66 to Threlkeld, turn left onto the B5322 and travel south until you reach the A591. Turn left towards Windermere and travel past the Kings head hotel and Thirlmere lake. We are at the bottom of the long hill that brings you down into Grasmere Valley. Turn left into our driveway immediately before the large road sign that says double bend.
Trains, Buses - There is a mainline train service from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh to Oxenholme the Lake District with connecting services to Windermere. Stagecoach busses operate from Windermere rail station. The 555 service drops you off nearly at our door. The 556 and the 599 terminate in Grasmere village.
