The Grasmere Gather is a large light and bright retail and exhibition space designed for peaceful browsing. It only sells products either made locally or from within the UK. Drawing inspiration from Cumbria’s Industrial Heritage everything is beautifully curated and displayed - a true showcase of some of the best local and national artisans.

The wooden feature table holds a treasure trove of knitwear, pottery, wood turning, bean to bar chocolate, toiletries, accessories and local literature whilst the large array of books mix Cumbrian interest with everything that pertains to accessing the Lake District landscape. Cashmere and lambswool from local knitwear providers and weavers, sit next to Herdwick Limited bags and accessories. The wide range of cards and original tweed covered notebooks can be discovered alongside leather desk tidies and key rings. Pottery and ceramics from local makers add colour and form, whilst the curated collection of jewellery reflects local stone, wood and metals.

If you’re looking for an original cushion or throw, look no further as the wide variety made from local wool and woven in some of the last working mills in the UK, means there is something appropriate for every home. Some of the regions most highly recognised photographers and artists adorn the space.
